A bit about me Jane, the funeral celebrant

My background is in end-of-life-care nursing. In this field, and in cancer care, I’ve worked in many settings for nearly 30 years. It has been a huge privilege spending time with those who are coming to terms with a life-limiting illness. It’s given me unique insights: there are so many ways to live and so many ways to celebrate a life that has been lived.

I love people and I’m endlessly fascinated by what makes them tick. When creating ceremonies, I’m working together with those who’ve lost someone to help them say goodbye and to reflect upon the richness of that life. I offer sensitive, experienced support and guidance during what can be a very challenging time.

My ceremonies will bring together all that is of importance to you, your family and the person you are saying goodbye to, Everyone is unique and there is no set way to design this ceremony. Some people like to plan their own ceremony and some don’t wish to or don’t have this option. My job will be to work with you however you would like things to be shaped.

If you would like to reach out to me for an informal chat, I would be delighted to talk to you,
